Oly, I hope you still feel able to continue asking questions here,
I know that in another thread you've posted, you feel that due to some of the responses you're given, it makes you feel like you can no longer post questions or threads anymore,
but please do not feel that way/think that way,
you are always welcome to post whatever it is you like
[within the rules of course].
Some people may not understand Autism/Aspergers, and the difficulties that come with it,
especially regarding social situations and other peoples behaviors, questioning a lot of things about others who do not struggle with things like you do, such as the questions you've been posting
- I think it's admirable that you post such questions to further understand those around you, and situations that you find yourself struggling with.
Please do not think or feel that you are no longer welcome here, or to post more questions.
As others said in your other thread, don't let anyone make you feel/think that you can't post here anymore, because you can.
In regards to your question -
As others have said, some people absolutely love and adore and feel excited when they are going to the beach, they love everything about it, the sun, the ocean, the sights, the heat, the socializing, the games / activities, getting a tan, playing with the sand, etc.
And others dislike everything about the beach.
And then there are others who enjoy some things about the beach, but not all things about it, so a bit of both, they both enjoy the beach, but also dislike things about it, too.
Hate/love kind of thing.
Everyone is different, in many many ways.
Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, interests, hobbies, etc.
I love the beach, but I do not like going to the beach.
Let me explain that in case you find it difficult to understand that statement because it does contradict itself!
I love pictures of the beach, I love the ocean sounds, I love the animals that are in the ocean like dolphins, I love the really soft sand, I love sunsets at the beach.
However, I hate going to the beach due to the heat[I struggle intensely with heat] and the social situations it puts me in, as well as the fact that it kind of is boring and also makes me very anxious/panicky going to a crowded place full of people and the sensory side of things can be overwhelming for me.
I hope this helps you understand a bit better.
