Have you ever confused a dream with life? Or stolen something when you have the cash? Have you ever been blue? Or thought your train moving while sitting still? Maybe I was just crazy. Maybe it was the 60's. Or maybe I was just a girl... interrupted.
I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside. I tried groups, didn't work out just made my depression a lot worse.
I have nothing helpful to add, only that I'm in a very similar position. Everyone's either useless, or too slow recognising how bad things are, or stuck on waiting lists, parents find it hard enough to deal with the idea I have depression, there's no way they could handle anything more serious.
"Alright, gang. I'll ignore that some of you are late... if you ignore that I'm the latest."
How do you know she's 'inexperienced'? The best workers I've had have been the younger ones or even support workers who theoretically are less qualified etc. You always have the option to ask for a new worker. What do you want from another assessment? Has anyone mentioned DBT or similar to you?
Also a CPN etc can help you with strategies to keep yourself safe, helping you deal with practical things and day to do issues and also medication. Nobody will be able to get rid of the thoughts for you though. It will be a process whereby you work with them to work out what triggers them, why, how to manage them etc. That generally comes from therapy.
I don't think she realises how bad things are if I am honest but I have a meeting with her and her manager today to discuss this issue and seeing if they can change my cpn and then that way things will move forward. I am willing to change this

Ok,unless you've been given this as an actual option by someone from the cmht,i would discount it as even an option.
99% of the time they will try everything on an outpatient basis first, including input from htt/crisis team....
Inpatient now is last resort.
Assessment wise, you don't get regular updated ones. If something changes for you,you have to tell your cpn,its like a rolling assessment.
What is it you want her to do that she/he clearly isn't doing for you? Have you,out loud told them what you want?

It's just I am becoming more suicidal and I am stuck on options as most tablets I have been on I have badly reacted as it caused me problems. I feel like any minute I am gonna act on these thoughts

If you feel suicidal, you can either ring samaritans, crisis team or the cmht and speak to duty/your cpn,or go to a&e to speak to someone.
Those are pretty much all the options in the UK. If you go to a&e then the crisis team or a psych will speak to you, then it would be up to them what they suggest.

What do you mean your parents don't realise? Is it that you dot want them to know? Or are you upset they haven't noticed of their own accord? You're 20; it's unlikely the psych team will tell your parents without your consent. Unless they are your legal guardians for some reason. Just being their offspring isn't guardianship over 18.
I have spoken to them countless times and asked for the support and all I am getting is nothing.
