I bet it's pretty nerve wracking and that's understandable but kudos to you for doing it!

You will have to link us to the Blog entry too when it is ready. I hope your docu portrays things how you want it to get across.
Do you get to see any edits before hand?

When I was in The Cutting Club documentary we got sent the DVD of it before it aired I think. There was even a private showing for all involved but I couldn't go.

I know some people involved have seen it and thought it was good so hopefully that'll be what you think when you see it too :) I think you're very brave for doing it!

Also, "Minds Like Ours" did seem like the best title; however, 'Diaries of a Broken Mind' is a big step-up from 'My Mad Diary' or whatever they wanted to call it like 2 weeks back. Corr :P

It should be an interesting concept. But the filming style with them doing it themselves is making me feel sick already!!

And i hate it when shows like this edit it so you see loads of people sitting down etc each time, i'm like stop it i wanna hear what they have to say!!

I'd love to watch all of these mental health documentaries that have been on lately but I'm afraid they will upset me.

Interesting but again a bit triggering - should learn not to watch these straight before bed!

I do think they did it well, they didn't try to hide aspects or whatever. Although I guess you can't really know how they did if you weren't on it - who knows what can be hidden!

There will always be a happy ending. If its not happy then its not yet the end.

I didn't really enjoy the documentary that much.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

Thought it was interesting but the style did my head in!

I found it hard to follow. The editing and you really didn't get a chance to sit and hear people properly. I turned it off at 10, editing was really bad. Might watch the other half but I was looking forward to the person with schizoaffective disorder as my friend has that but i didn't get that far.

I thought it was by far the best documentary I've seen on living with mental illnesses. The style of the filming didn't bother me at all. The only criticism is I wish they'd focussed more on everyone, but I suppose they had time constraints.

I didn't find it triggering at all, it was extremely interesting and well made.

I found it extremely triggering but I pushed myself to watch it

Why was it triggering? I didn't find it triggering at all.

I didn't find it triggering I found it to long and would have preferred it to be shorter and more shows looking in more depth at the people.

That said I did think it was informative and I thought all the people were so brave and I enjoyed it etc!!!!!
