Get a beef brisket. Rub with the following spices

Paprika
Salt
Pepper
Basil
Cumin

Slow cook for 12 hours, until it falls apart. (A good choice for when both you & your partner are very busy)
Add your choice of vegetables to go with it.
Nom.

Also, I enjoy how there's like 22 posts in half an hour- the simple act of listing food has got us all terribly excited!

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.

Also, Lamb Tagine.

Chop 2 onions, and a clove of garlic, fry in olive oil.
Add 600g chopped lamb, your choice which cut. Brown off.
Add following spices:
Paprika
Cumin
Coriander
Salt
Pepper

If you have harissa paste, add a teaspoon, and some tomato paste. And chopped dates/apricots/etc.
Add 300ml water, simmer for an hour.
Make cous cous to go with it.

This has made me want to be more ambitious with meals again!!

Erm, I don't think I have anything to offer that's not already been said!

Pizzas and Pastas are always nice and easy :)
Falafel in pitta
Ratatouille
Anything and mash
Sweet potato fries/wedges with anything
Homemade soups
Savoury crepes/pancakes
Homemade tapas, i.e patatas bravas, spiced rice, etc, etc
homemade ravioli is always yummy, but can be difficult...if not shop bought fresh, and make sage butter (literally melt butter in a pan and put some sage leaves in...keep on the heat to infuse)

can't go wrong with homemade lasagna - takes about an hour to prepare & cook.
fajitas are fairly fast to do & go well with salad(I may just be strange with the salad thing)
