Katie, post whatever you want.
I don't think forum space *can* be wasted?! Was just an odd topic for a thread is all. Not a bad thing, just odd!

Takes up bandwidth, but if that was becoming an issue there could be whole other boards that could go first.

It was more the sarcastic and pointless comments, there's just no need.

There are always points to comments.

A pointless comment in this situation would just be...

Banana.

Try living in a hospital with 150 patients where you actually aren't allowed to do washing and have to send it "somewhere" in bags with your name and ward on it, but they always take it to the wrong ward anyway. -.-
I acquired two pairs of boxers from the men's side and a pair of socks during the year and a bit that I was there. God knows how many of my clothes other patients got.

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

Hi Claire, thank you.

Katie I'd be more concerned about not being able to flush the toilet :3

I'm with Claire in this one, if you think a thread is pointless or whatever just don't bother replying.

On a side note when I was at uni one pro of working weird shifts was that I was up at stupid o'clock in the morning so that at least 1 of our 2 washers and dryers (for two different buildings worth of students) was usually free.

My apartment complex sucks with washers and dryers. Most of the time half of them aren't working and each room only has two washers and two dryers. Also, bedding doesn't fit in them.

It's sad that one of the highlights of my upcoming move is having my own washer and dryer. :P

Bless you, I'm sure your loving girlfriend took care of your washing :p
I got friendly with the porter who took the washing and brought it back. Good ol' Barry, always made sure I got my washing! Bless him, driving round the grounds with his little milk float....

All the reading matter in our launderette are informative posters from the Housing Association! So no illicit stuff!

I did get it done. And met a few nice people in the process. :) Not bad for socially anxious me..

And thanks for sticking up for me, Claire, Katy, Jodie.

Oh and thanks Aimee, sorry I missed you out.

Mike, the disruption in water supply is because of a leak in the road outside needing to be repaired. And they were going to need to turn the water off at various points in the day.
Am out atm. Will see how things are when I return! But I had my shower and the laundry's done. But yes, the loo is a concern!

Are you jealous?
I am highly jealous, we have 14 washers and 11 dryers between 1037 students at my uni, and usually half of them are broken!

I play Laundrette routlette, you never know if you can get all your washing done in one day.

Also as an embarrasing story. I once threw my granny pants in the face of a male person, haven't figured out who was more embarrased, me or him!

Glad you got it done. Hopefully your water won't be off for long today.
