Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 was on tv last night so I left it on while doing other computer things. So I've now seen all the Twilight films except Breaking Dawn Pt 2.
I was completely flabbergasted by how absolutely terrible of a narrative it is. To be honest, I thought the first film was the best (or rather the least detestable). Just as a love story, the first film was fairly decent. After the first film the series got overly dramatic and so twisted that it was like the story had been written by a 14 year old girl who had never actually experienced love. The love triangle that develops in the later films is so ridiculous, and it's pretty much just the same love story over and over with a different conflict surrounding the main characters. It's the kind of flimsy plot, one dimensional characters, and terrible acting that I would expect to see in a soap opera.
Also. Did Edward just eat a baby out of Bella's uterus? What the shit. How is that... just... what??? LOL I don't understand desperate, single girls.

Harry Potter over everything. PROUD MEMBER OF THE DUMBLEDORE ARMY!!

I'm a peace loving person. But If I ever hear someone say Twilight is superior to Harry Potter I will slap them.
I recall having a very pleasant conversation with an acquaintance, until she mentioned her weekend plans were to see the latest Twilight movie. Lightspeed is slower than the speed the smile dropped off my face.
Credit to her, she sensed something was up and changed the subject.

I was about to sarcastically say "You're doing brilliantly by the way" and then I realised you were talking about all the Bellatrix stuff. I'm too tired to be smart right now.
I think there's this big assumption that everyone should hate Twilight because it's no a typical way of approaching a story with vampires or fantasy. I'll admit, I really enjoy both. I have read all of the books of both series, at least twice. In both cases, the books were much better. I'm sorry to disappoint any hardcore fans of the films but I don't think Daniel Radcliffe can act, and that he was chosen for his looks over ability. I equally think Kristen Stewart has the inability to act with any part of her body other than her eyebrows. She constantly looks depressed (meh, who am I to talk? ). Point made anyway, the books in both cases are far better than the film adaptations.
Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world. All things can be mended. Not with time, as they say, but with intention. So go. Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally. The broken world awaits in darkness for the light that is you.
I like both of them, the books much more than the films.
Really dnt like the casting in twilight, but the books are written better i think

once upon a time there lived a girl who had been obscessed with vampires from a very young age, then a film called twiight was released. To see what al the fuss was about said girl and a friend rented the first dvd...
He can't, and neither can Emma Watson. It's painful to watch. Rupert Grint is fab though.
However, for the purpose of a story comparison, HP is waaaaaaay superior in every way, it's not JK's fault they chose **** actors to do the movies.
Radcliffe's method of acting seems to be something along the lines of "If happy, smile creepily; if sad, sniffle; if angry, be loud." And that's pretty much his entire range.
Emma Watson is worse though, her performances are contained entirely within her eyebrows. At least she's better than Kristen Stewart, who doesn't even give us that much.
If you havent watched/read it how do you know you hate it? D:
I never understand that!x
I know this quote wasn't aimed at me but I haven't watched it or read it but the whole vampire thing just doesn't interest me and whilst I don't hate it I wouldn't watch it willingly. The same with the Hunger Games!
I love Harry Potter though :)

I've read every Twilight book, because I don't like having a strong opinion about something without evidence to back it up. I thoroughly detest Twilight on many levels. It amuses me how much Rob Pattinson now hates Twilight.
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
