I had Uni today but my support worker got me a birthday card :)
And I bought a book about the different classes / stocks of all the trains in the UK. The 319379 First Capital Connect train I went on yesterday was a Class 319/3 train, from the Bedford Cauldwell Walk depot (still trying to find out what PTR stands for under the owner).
My Dad is going to buy me a present soon. The carers got me a really warm sweatshirt with a big hood.
I went to London with Charlie and his brother yesterday which was good. We went to the Science Museum and the Natural History museum.
Today has been pretty good. First completely good day I've had in ages.

That sounds like a good birthday, filled with all your passions. I'm just wondering, do you have a transport museum near you? That would have a lot of info about trains. There is one in Glasgow. It's quite good and has lots of trains both past and present. I was flicking through my photos and found some from the transport museum and it made me think of you.

There is the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden, and I've been to it - it's good, I got in free due to having a Disabled Freedom Pass as well. I went with C, my best friend, and we have loads of photos and I bought some stuff from the shop, including an Underground Map towel and a t-shirt with the Underground Map on it. I'm hoping to go to the nig one in York one day. Sounds really good - the one in Glasgow. Thanks :)

Sorry that this is really late but I have been very busy at uni recently. I hope that you had a brilliant day though and a good time at the Science Museam and Natural History Museam (I really like the dinasaurs).

It's not by any chance the Rail Guide 2012 by Colin Marsden, is it? Good book that.
Frustratingly, I can't find out for sure what PTR means either - all I have found is that Southern sub-leases the 319s to First Capital Connect, but I can't find any information on who leases them to Southern!
On the stock exchange, PTR appears to be a company called PetroNeft Resources. My boyfriend suggests Porterbrook Trains - a company that purchases trains to lease, which sounds more feasible. You've probably found the answer by now though...

Yes it is that book, a very good one indeed.
I saw a DR98916 engineer's train at St Helier station (my home station)! I took multiple pictures of it.
I am not sure what PTR stands for either, but I will do some research when my head calms down :) thanks for the info
