Touchscreen is good, im using it for years. It was just a matter of time to get used on it, maybe few days :)

I chose touchscreen because I find it easier to use for a variety of things, texting, taking pictures, apps etc. It's surprising how easily you get used to texting without looking with a touchscreen :)

Auror. i know exactly what you mean with typing on the touch screen, i have the same problem even i have small fingers. For typing, old phones are the best. But other things such as browsing the net, listening music and so, iphone is awesome.

My phone is the samsung galaxy mini, and it has swype. That basically means that instead of tapping each letter, I can just keep my finger down and slide from one letter to the next. If I touch a wrong letter, it's usually good at figuring out what I mean. For obscure words that may not be in the phone dictionary, I still have the option of tapping each key to spell it out.

So far its 23 - 17 touch over QWERTY. Looks like I will end up with both anyway since I'm going with an Android to tie into Google (free phone calls over computer and ability to take and archive messages etc). The calls I made on desktop with headset sounded even better than a land-line did.
