I enjoyed this weeks Doctor Who, it was pretty good but...Worst ending EVER! I feel like it ended without really telling me anything about anything...Bit of a let down.
There was so much potential there, that just was not capitalised on. I mean, Gallifreyan fairy tales/myths? That could've been good. I did nip out of the room to put the kettle on, but what had the small black girl got to do with things? I saw then "shut her down" with the deus ex machina that is the sonic screwdriver, but never quite understood what she was.
Also, did the Doctor just leave those humans on the ship to die? Unlike him, no?

I actually messaged a fellow whovian friend of mine a big "The sonic screwdriver has become the worst deus ex machina I've ever seen" rant whilst watching last week's episode I don't really understand what she was either, some "survellience drone" or whatnot....still doesn't make much sense.
I've only just thought about the people on the ship....
I'm not really enjoying this series and I hate that I'm not because I usually enjoy doctor who a rather large amount. It seems like this whole series is about letting Amy and Rory go gently...
Oh god I want to hear you say,
I want to hear you say that you were wrong again

This series is sucking butt so far. This weekends episode could've been so good, instead it turned out laughable.
Honestly if next week, riversong dies by weeping angel,I'll be hunting moffat down and slapping him with a copy of his own episodes, where riversong actually dies.
Nice to see the Angels back to their former glory. I do have some questions though:
1. Could someone explain to me the part where River kidnaps Rory? I must not have been paying attention.
2. How can the Statue of Liberty (which I always thought was made of copper...) move through a city and no one look at it?
3. What the hell has happened to paradoxes in the past few series?! Can someone explain to me what it takes to create a paradox and what won't create one?
4. Can Moffat ever write a story that doesn't have a happy ending? I would have thought it would have had a much greater impact to end the story with the suicide scene. Or to have Rory and Amy (I'm ignoring the pointless and contrived Rory-going-back-to-the-gravestone) be sent back to separate points in time and never be able to find each other.
I totally agree, Doctor Who has turned to crap. I stopped watching due to disappointment. The trailers for the next episodes became far better than the actual episodes.
The writing is downright sloppy with there being a total lack of consistency in the series' overall plot and characterization. Not to mention, Amy and Rory are annoying.
I don't know why i even watch this anymore, the writing is appalling, the episodes all have the crappiest endings ever...the story-what story?!
The ending of last nights episode should've been when Amy and rory jumped off the building.
I have no idea how river came to kidnap rory,it wasn't explained at all, except the fact it had already happened and was in the book.
Since when has the Dr used his regeneration energy to heal people?
Since when have you been able to chain a weeping angel up?also agree on the statue of liberty being copper, weeping angels are only supposed to be stone.
I know children that could write better stories than this series.

The way I saw it was she didn't kidnap him, the baby angel sent him back, and he just happened to land right in front of her just before she was kidnapped by the collector guy because he wanted her help with his angels
I wanted an unhappy ending also, bit odd of me I suppose but I don't know, it seemed like such a build up and then not much at all.
The statue of liberty angel thing annoyed me as well, as did some of the other angels moving in New York, someone would have seen them, it seems like there was a lot of inconsistency with the rules of the angels moving in that episode.
Sadly, overall I really didn't think much of this series.

I hate to say anything bad about Doctor Who because I do love the show but I don't know, this season so far has kind of been a big let down. The writing for the show seems to have taken a weird turn. I was trying to explain to my brother about the last episode and even to me it sounded weird and full of holes. Honestly it all seems so unorganized which is saying something since doctor who can confuse you if you don't pay attention but they always used to explain things and along the way you would figure things out and knew what was going on but in this season I have just been confused and disappointed.
The ending was okay I guess I mean I expected something different and much better. I think if the ending had been those two jumping off the ledge it would have made more of an impact or even if they had been sent back in two completely different centuries or something.
I was also confused about the angels I mean the way the attacked and did things were very strange and just didn't fit. Sadly this season of doctor who has been my least favorite I just hope it picks back up with the Christmas special.
Also I actually do like Oswin so I wouldn't mind seeing her again although I have no idea how they are going to pull that one off.
