Sometimes I feel like she's thinking I'm just a joke. I feel like because of my BPD diagnosis, nobody takes me seriously... Maybe she entered the job to help the depressed, the bipolar, the schizophrenic... all those illness' that people immediately think of when they think of Mental Illness...

Emma...At the end of the day you wouldn't do the things you do to yourself if you were well would you? You have just as much right to help and support as someone with Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Depression e.t.c

I have a real issue with telling professionals what I'm thinking... I had stitches today, and the doctor kept asking if it was still numb and if I could feel it... I could and I still said no XD
I can be soooo gobby and loud with my friends, but put me with my GP, CPN, psych, or even a paramedic, and I shut down... If I could instant message her instead, I'd be fine.
Do you have any tips on talking to people easier?

Oh Emma you sound just like me!!! Except the friends part 'cos I don't have any :(
I wish I could help but I shut down in front of professionals too. I end up saying nothing and just going along with what they have to say even if I disagree.
