I used to hate the summer, but now I have the confidence to wear dresses and skirts i'm not constantly overheating and I can actually enjoy the sun and I really, really like it.
The bugs are pretty irritating though.

I went for a bike ride yesterday which was awesome - though I did have to stop because I nearly got a bit dehydrated!
This afternoon was nice because I lay in the garden for quarter of an hour whilst my cat decided to mither me. It was really lovely and kind of relaxed.
I live in the North East of Scotland... they said exam fortnight was always the hottest of the year and I didn't listen, so I sent ALL my summer clothes home with my parents last weekend in preparation for moving home for the holidays because I'd not needed them all year so didn't think I'd need them in the next fortnight... All I have is jeans, tshirts, winter boots, one pair of trainers which are falling apart and hoodies. And no sun cream.
Safe to say I'm overheating and sunburnt xD but I went to the beach anyway and stood out like a sore thumb :P But I did buy sun cream... if it starts snowing again tomorrow, I will not be impressed :P

I like the sun because I hate cold weather. The heat can be uncomfortable but at least i'm not slipping about on ice or freezing to death. It's nice to see some daylight rather than just greyness.
I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Hmm well I was enjoying the weather but for some reason even with sun lotion on the backs of my legs, right behind my knees, got pretty badly sunburnt and now walking hurts :( Oh well just an excuse to have a lazy day tomorrow and stay indoors :P

The weather... The weather... Tornado Alley is fun 8') I don't know if I should be enjoying watching tornadoes destroy things... But... might as well enjoy it while it lasts...
I am more than you know, streetlights and open roads, I am more than a face stuck living in one place. So call me California, call me what you will, because I am bigger than this place, and so far from alone. I don't believe in your hate, because these scars are gunna fade, so pour me out like water and soak me up like rain. Like a runaway, I spend these nights counting stars, like a runaway. And maybe I could call this home tonight?
I love this weather and wish I didn't live so far from the seaside.
Had a barbecue today with veggie and feta skewers and tuna steak, salad and garlic potatoes... and a big pitcher of Pimms with strawberries, cucumber, orange and mint leaves in.
