Christians give up something (form of fasting), and sometimes take up something.

You could go veggie rather than vegan... vegan is a massive step, even just doing it for lent... it's quite a shock to the body...
My friend went from carnivore, then veggie (overnight), then 2 weeks later, went vegan... she ended up in hospital, malnourished and very ill... I have had to teach her to cook and eat properly as a vegan (I'm not vegan, I'm veggie, but my dad is vegan and has been for longer than I've been alive, and I have been cooking for him for years)
I also think that doctors would suggest against doing it...
Death is one moment, and life is so many of them.
Don't look forward to the day you stop suffering, because when it comes you'll know you're dead.

I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad,
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had.
I'm actually a girl. My nickname was given by a friend and stuck ;)

Planning to give up SH as it's something I usually do. Will give up something else too (to avoid the awkward, "So, what did you give up?" question) :P Still stuck for ideas though.
It doesn't matter where you come from; it matters where you go.
No-one gets remembered for the things they didn't do.
We won't all be here this time next year,
so while you can take a picture of us.
We're definitely going to hell,
but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
