Personally, I'd quite like those campaigning for equality to campaign for higher prison sentences for women that rape (nb. this is based on equivalents). Would it happen? No. Society is very anti-men and pushes for equality are usually not in the male's interest as it creates a situation where he is of lesser status, since it's often flung in the opposite direction rather than bringing it to equal levels.

Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"

Hmm...can't say that I even remotely agree that society in general is very "anti-men" but I can see certain issues causing men to feel that way. The wording of laws should be changed, definitely, and I've seen no one arguing differently. Both men and women are discriminated against, and society just seems to have a hard time balancing itself out in all respects. It's like for one issue we try to tip the scale too far in one direction to try to make up for another scale being tipped too far in the opposite direction. This leads to issues and arguments and complexes of all manners. It leads to "they didn't hire me because I'm white" when at other points in this society's history, that idea would be laughable. Laws and safety programs for preventing sexual or domestic violence are heavily targeted at women because these were issues that were ignored, sometimes even accepted, for so long. It's time to catch up with modern times.

Dangerous Women: Why Mothers, Daughters and Sisters Become Stalkers, Molesters and Murderers (Hardback)
By Larry A. Morris
I have not read the book. However, my understanding of this issue is that not sufficient research is done to fully understand. For example, I know several male colleagues whose first sexual experience was with an older female family member, like a cousin, yet they would not want to conceptualise it as molestation or rape. It is almost seen like a rite of passage or norm.
I am unsure of the original research, but some persons theorise that the molester in a authoritarian position becomes more infantile- delusion- that they are actually in a romantic relationship with their student, hence why they marry or get together after the prison sentence.
It is implied that a lot of these women are abused so they cannot discern what healthy interaction is, and society through pornography and general low standards definitely blurs the morality of relationships.
Woman can be rapists- but I do think that the treatment will be different until it is better reported and understood.

Let's call the whole thing- red
“ It’s time to lead the third revolution, which is not to say we want to be at the top of the world, but to say we want to change the world. Because the way the world has been designed by men is not working. It’s not working for women, it’s not working for men,
it’s not working for polar bears.” Arianna Huffington 2014
