The Perioidic Table is very cool. I like the fact that they're producing new elements, like ununpentium etc. But I don't like their names.

Have you tried memorising maps? I memorised the Underground map and I'm currently memorising several train maps. It's fun.

Oh, I'm useless with maps. XD I have very little sense of direction - to the extreme, where I still get lost on my way home from the corner shop sometimes.

Thanks. I did learn all of that, but that was a while ago. However I might try again, as we both like a challenge.

I'm useless with sense of direction too, but (sorry if I wasn't clear) I meant train/underground maps, the ones that come in straight lines. I have the whole of SouthWest Trains map on my wall in my bedroom and I have the GB National Rail Timetable 2011 book that shows not only timetables but also every single train map in the whole of the UK, it's fantastic!

What method did you use to learn the Perioidic Table?

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

:) Hehe.

Ooh I see - I've never tried memorising any maps as of yet. :) I may give it a go though.

Oh, with the periodic table I was about 9 or 10, and I wrote them all down out of a book and read through them then closed my eyes and tried seeing how many I could recite without looking, and so on. :P

You should try the maps - it's quite satisfying.

That's a good method for learning the Periodic Table. For pi, I just stared at the numbers in groups of ten for about 5-10 seconds and they just sunk in. Same with the train routes.

I shall do. :D I'm thinking of memorising the underground systems in Russia.

Thats how I learned the pi! It's really easy once one gets the hang of it.

That would be fantastic - memorising the underground systems in Russia. PI is good, I think you should learn it again. I am going to restart my learning of all the train routes in the UK because I slacked off due to exams. Exams are over now.
