I can relate to the not knowing what you want from one minute to the next, feeling like I can do something and then suddenly so awful. I find evenings and night is where my mood goes way down along with my motivation and I then feel guilt and shame and resort to self harm. I'm being a big smelly hypocrate here, but I think it's okay to recognise these thoughts but also to try do something to distract. Even if it is something very small, thats okay. With depression you can't be expected to snap back to the old you and be able to work lots and do lot's of activities, but even doing something small that can distract or lift your mood a bit might help. What about writing down tasks or enjoyable activities you want to do and feel you can achieve and trying to attempt them during times when your mood goes down? I know this is all easier said than done, but try not to be too hard on yourself if you are not feeling up to doing certain tasks (something I'm slowly trying to accept), and as Bitter Angel says, baby steps. It sounds like you have got through this before, and you can do it again. Take care.

I feel a huge weight of expectation.
I need a little Jimney Cricket character to constantly tell me it will be ok and to push me along. I seem incapable of making that voice stick in my head.
Its called faith right?
I think you can do it.
Feeling unsettled by settled-ness is sadly really normal. You get used to things being "off" and when they right themselves you tip a bit. It's okay, you can get through it.
Expectation is heavy... but it will be okay. It's pointless telling you not to expect/ push yourself too hard but no-one else jusdges you as harshly as you judge yourself and by any standards you've done well to get where you are.
hugs.

There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: 'This glass is half full'. And then there are those who say: 'This glass is half empty'.
The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: 'What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
