early access isn't all its cracked up to be at the moment. Right now all I can see is the welcome page. They say it could be weeks before I get a welcoming email which will allow me to see the beta site. They can't let everyone in at once because it would probably crash.

Yeah, that's all I can see. Although they did say it could be 2 weeks before you get your "access" e-mail - so I know I shouldn't worry lol. But I thought the site would be open to the 1 million at the end of the Magic Quill thing, and isn't that only 1 week?

APPARENTLY between 9am and 1pm British time, apparently. According to one website, anyway.
And yeah we probably won't get too much extra special stuff from early access but I felt the need to do it to satisfy my urge to keep Harry Potter alive in my life
