Meh, I can't eat them because I'm a vegetarian (marshmellows).
I don't remember what they taste like when I had them before I was a vegetarian, I've been one for over 10 years.
all I can say is....nom nom nom :)
I love them! But, none of my family had ever heard of them before.
It is mostly an American thing I think.
but damn....they good :)

Love them. I do have to say, though, just in general, it's very entertaining to microwave a marshmallow. They get HUGE. It's hilarious.
So what color/cooked-ness does everyone like their marshmallow over a campfire?
I like mine slightly golden, but I have some friends that literally get theirs on fire, pull it out, blow the flames out, and say that's the best.. so.. opinions?!
I do have to edit my opinion slightly. Ideally I like them fully golden, but I'm really incredibly impatient so they rarely end up that way.
When I was non-vegetarian I had smores and they were amazinggg!
Actually, I was in cadets, we had a BBQ and we cooked EVERYTHING - Pom-Bears don't BBQ well but Vimto sweets do :) - but since I am vegetarian now I haven't had smores in forever. I should really find an adequate substitute...
Oh, if anyone likes peanut butter, I find that it's good in s'mores.. but I actually really like honey peanut butter in s'mores.. if you can't get premixed honey peanut butter you can always mix the two together.. but then I'm a bit obsessed with peanut butter so.
Yes they do make veggie ones. I buy mine from here, they're not as cheap as non veggie ones but I love them http://www.sweetvegan.co.uk/ They do a few different flavours, normal vanilla, strawberry, banana, ones with toasted coconut on the outside. I'd not had marshmallows in almost ten years because I was veggie, but you can get veggie marshmallows online now, there's even a seller on eBay who does them (I've not had those though)
Not so sure about smores though, they seem fiddly and I'm a lazy person when it comes to snacks
And I'm not gonna lie, I have toasted a marshmallow over a candle in my living room many a time.
ha totally done this too ^_^
I like mine burnt mmm.xx
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.
They do but apparently they're not as nice and are quite expensive.
I think they're as nice they're just different, they're hand made a lot of the time so they're going to be different from factory made non-veggie ones. Again, the cost is due to the fact they're trickier and more time consuming to make by hand than non-veggie ones.
Although, I am horribly biased as I love vegetarian marshmallows :)
And I'm not gonna lie, I have toasted a marshmallow over a candle in my living room many a time.
Haha I've done this too. Actually, when I was younger (and a lot more patient) I used to roast mini marshmallows on a toothpick over a candle. Much fun.
