Sometimes I worry that Vets is at risk of just.....disappearing. Which I would hate. So I think one merged, busier forum might be quite good and make sure Vets keeps ticking over.

I'd hate to see vets disappear too. If merging the two boards would help keep it going then that would be a good thing.

Katie i know about jobs, matt's been in wales over 5 years and the only job he's ever had here was a part-time agency job that dried up within months of him being forced (by an agency that was assigned matt's jobseeking case) to take it, it wasn't suitable from the start, he was promised it woul all be ok and we eneded up in over £1000 debt whilst we waited for jobseekers, tax credits and housing benefit to catch up when he had to leave because he was being offered less than 6hrs a week (and because the jobcentre told him to resign).

I think if oyu merged the 2 forums general threads would disappear because they don't get posted as often as serious and they don't get so many replies.

I'm not sure it matters either way, I think having a vets corner is great btw... Personally I think one forum makes more sense, as long as posts are all labelled correctly I don't see the issue with mixing up chat and support, makes it more like life! A healthy mix of happy and lighthearted posts with the doom and gloom is a good idea...

Just my thoughts... Only been here about a month so I dunno what it used to be like

I dont think support threads would drop too much tbh. Its moving so slowly right now and for the past 2 years infact. You can also set your browser to show more than 15 posts too. it helps a lot.

Oh BTW penguins dont eat worms! FISH and snow cones! (dont eat the yellow snow tho) (and dont stat singing Frank Zappa either) (hmm that reminds me to send an email.........

I find that i often dont look in vets general so a merging of the two could be beneficial in that way.

Its possible that the general threads may get pushed down faster or visa-versa, but if it make the running of the board easier then i say go for it.

Ok, so I gave it a thunk in my head...though about it...and for now came up with this...

The last boughts of "crappiness feelings" I wanted nothing to do with the general corner...but when I did venture in...I found a little smile appear on my face from something that someone has said...

With that being said, it could do us/me some good to (putting myself out there -not talking about anyone but ME here) have one forum...if that was done, then (I will just use me so as not to offend anyone) I would be more inclined to read some positive notes or happy thoughts or stupid jokes. Having the labeling system really works (I think)

Speaking of the labeling...notice everything in serious is labled...so if people just keep to the labeling...*nods head* I think we could go to one...

I wouldn't mind a merge. I'm lazy that way though :P
