Bit of an odd question.

I've never written in my blood before, just smeared it on paper...
Gosh, that sounds so strange reading it back...

I would suck/lick the blood off my arm, because I usually don't have a towel or anything with me...
Because of that, I always get this feeling that I have blood on my face whenever I SI, even if I don't bring my face up to the cut in any way.
Any of you have that, or is it just me? O.o

Yeah I get that too. Like, I'll worry I have blood on my clothes/arms/face, etc, even when I know I don't. I guess I'm just really paranoid about it..

oh ya i lick my blood. one time i actually collected some blood in a small plasic container and drank it....hahaha hope thats not too weird or anything.

I think it's a natural reaction really. If you look at animals, when they're dirty they lick themselves clean, and I suppose this is the same for us if there's dried blood on our body somewhere (if we can reach it).

It's probably also a natural reaction if we're still bleeding, because we want the bleeding to stop, which is why we use towels, plasters, bandages etc and if you can't find them, then you do what you can until you find something proper. Like if you have a nosebleed you pinch your nose until you find a tissue.

When I have or haven't self harmed (like, had an accident) I've tasted my blood. When I was younger I used to get nosebleeds all the time and I would get told to tilt my head back, which meant it would run down the back of my throat and I had to swallow it.
