I'm less inclined toward self-harm if I feel under the weather for any reason, even just a bad head cold or something like that. Maybe it's being conditioned to nurture ourselves when we're ill. I don't know about anyone else, but I grew up absorbing a lot of "chicken soup is good for colds" type conditioning. I've learned that it's proper to cut someone some slack if they feel ill. *shrug* Just my two cents. :)

With me it's that I don't want to make actions based on the way I'm feeling just because it's that time of the month. Like i'm taking the easy way out by cutting to control my emotions.

It has no effect on me, even though I get crippiling Cramps and Migranes, If some thing happens that would normally trigger me I will still SI. I guess I see it as that the pain that comes with me Period is my bodies, not my minds... And I usually have really light periods anyway, so blood loss has never crossed my mind until now to be honest....

I'm with ya on the fact of cutting less when I'm on my period. I guess probably because one of the bigger reasons I cut is for the blood (cuz I think 'oh i can just bleed all/everything out.' ya know?) So in a way when I'm on my period I feel like I am sort of bleeding things out.

Another day - Another play - Mold the clay Straighten it out -Make it lay - Breathe upon the living creature Lungs burn - Heart pumps - Fingers twitch - Becomes alive - Burn and fly - Time to rely - Upon a lie.
