The thing is, with the people like Zoe who can't sing but have a really high opinion of themselves and think that they're great, before you get to Simon and the other judges you have to sing in front of two other panels, so if they put someone through to see the celebrity panel then it's not going to help really because they'll think that they've got what it takes for sure.

im gutted coz i dont really watch things like that but i watched the first one this year and got in to it now my tv wont pick up any channels!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think its a sign lol

Because the show wouldn't get as many ratings if you just saw the good people. Everyone tunes into the auditions to see the ones that are really crap and the ones who are delusional and the ones who are so bad its just funny, as cruel as it is, it makes good television, and gets people hooked.

And also, who wants to watch a bunch of nobodies doing the judging? if they showed the first and second rounds of judging it'd be boring because there'd be no Sharon, Simon or Louis

I just like the auditions to see all the deludedpeople who are totally tone deaf but think they are great. That rachel - honestly, how can a teenager (or early 20s) think she is better than madonna, who has decades of experience.
