keep looking forward to the more settled times right? and keep looking after yourself, cutting yoruself some slack. i'm kind of jealous that you're aware when/why things are bad hormone-wise - i always forget about PMS myself!

Thanks... your replies do help.

I've bad cramps today.

I had a good therapy session this morning. And now it's the Easter Break. Well, longer than over Easter, but that's what it's called! My therapist said some really lovely, supportive things to me. I just hope I can maintain things over the next few weeks.

Am feeling tired and a bit irritable this evening. Had a semi argument about the concept of strikes with my flatmate a bit earlier. But it doesn't seem to have damaged our relationship.

Glad you had a good therapy session, it's always nice to end on a good one. You will get through these next few weeks. We are all here for you *hugs*

Thanks Kat.

The cramps have been really bad. And this effects me emotionally. Have taken one of my remedies, which seems to be helping. Thankfully I can rest a lot over the next few days. I'll do my food shop this morning, then come home and have a very restful day.

I hope they ease for you soon hun, what about using a heat pack or hot water bottle? I hope you get some rest there.

I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, I would recommend talking to your doctor about St. Johns Wort or some other natural supplement to enhance your mood. I get TERRIBLE PMS but my body's too messed up for hormones and medications so my doctor recommended some natural supplements. It's not total cure but it makes me a lot more human. There can be side effects though, even to natural treatments so def. discuss it with a doctor first, especially if you're on other meds.

I'm sorry chica, I know how you feel... PMS just makes everything look and feel horrible... which can be unbearable if you're already struggling...

Just try to remember that the worst of it is only temporary. (eat lots of chocolate... it helps release endorphins which make you happy)

I'm still on an anti-depressant, albeit a low dose now, so SJW is out for now. But I might consider it as maintenance or such when I do finally come off my medication. I'm still dabbling in homeopathy, but. [Long story.]

Thanks for understanding, Ren. The PMS phase is over now, for this month, but I often feel this cruddy 2 or 3 days in.
