Pandas really do seem to be the most useless creatures around. I remember hearing about one panda in a zoo which, when introduced to a female, attempted to mate with her wrist and her ear, before giving up and settling with platonic friendship... It's a mystery how they're not extinct already :\

Panda's are an excellent example of evolution in action. Apparently they only started to shift from carnivore to herbivore a few thousand years ago so they aren't good at it yet.

Their stomachs are so inefficient at digesting the bamboo they eat that their droppings are bright green. They haven't yet taken on the intestinal bacteria needed to break down the plant properly. Which is why they appear so slow and low on energy all the time.
If they survive another 5-10 thousand years they may yet make it.

So you see they are just making things hard on themselves.

My friend has a Goliath Spider and I babysat her animals for a fortnight...... Lets just say, the spider was fed and given water very quickly!!!!!
