"memories of what was and is to be."

These walls so bare, plain they create a clean slate,
we'd write on them in crimson paint,
washed away but the memory stains.
To those who strain to see through my eyes,
though they'd see nothing just a barren quaint little room.
And who would suspect,
that my life's a wreck when there is no proof to see.
and if i don't smile once in awhile who would care they'd rather sleep.
With their eyes wide open and they act sweet,
because there's nothing for them to know no secrets for me to show.
And when i don't wake up tomorrow,
well maybe then they'll know everything i did,
wasn't just for show.

But my life's a dream and i paint the path,
and determined i would laugh
that there be no better place for me to be
But drifting away at sea.
And when the land becomes far behind,
and we'd look to the sky to make it mine.
I'd wrap my arms around myself and sigh,
To know how it is to be free.
We watch as the silver wrapped in twine,
sinks forever into the hole inside.
And we'd say goodbye to the thoughts of suicide
For a new clean way to just be.
Be me.

I notice your pretty porcelain face,
as i lay my hand against it i find it cold and ungiving.
Your eyes pleading from behind.
The fake mask you wear screams pity.

I unclasp the mask and let it fall,
revealing the most beautiful face yet,
your true beauty lies within.
I say as i kiss your cracked lips.

Doyou know how long it takes,
to leave behind this mask love?
I bury it in the sand beneath our feet.

I am a plague.

Master of repition i write of pirates,
pleas for help,
of whores,
of bores,
ways to settle scores.
I am nothing and noone.

Viral the infection speads fast
as my lies,
wildfire.
with me inside you
your doomed.
I am the pulse within your veins.

Your mind, my mind,
we think the same,
dream the same,
speak the same
but in two different languages.
I am your nightmares.

Throwing molotovs into a paper house.
The burn is warm but gone quickly.
My gasoline soaked hands burning in the fire.
you cry the fire out
Because you cant stand to watch me hurt myself
I am your blade.

the mirror a cruel joke.
the scale flipping behind your eyes
You underline the calorie chart on the box
running to the other room because you can't stand to talk to me
when your voice goes dry and your throat closes.
I am your fear,your pain, your anger.

you hoist the ropes and my words are the same
I cant stop you if this is what you want but i can and will miss you
but it wont matter to you because your so caught up in who you think you are
That the real you no longer shows through.
because your so caught up in dying
that you forgot to live.
I am everything inside of you.

We are one in the same in two different bodies,
my heart, your heart.
My eyes to your eyes
and you'd cry
because your not alone
but your so alone
your made of stone.
i'm made of ice.

Your fury burns me and i am scorned because i know the things i said were out of line.
You didn't even hesitate to drop the line.
Borderline cruel your words slipped through your lips
Regretting them before they even echo off the floor.
They forever bounce around in my mind.
What if i was yours and you were mine.
I am only a half of a whole.

My hand, your hand.
My heart, your heart.
And we are one.

But this is always the same dance,
and i'm taking every last chance
To try to make you see
this is not all you were meant to be.

Messages to Butterflies

Butterfly passing by; Don't you cry no more.
Dry your eyes bite your lies; Don't you wanna die no more.
Show me the you, you hide; Don't you run away no more.

Your in your cacoon;and i'm right outside.
I'll sit by your side until you bloom; and i'm not going anywhere as long as your here.
Your wings unfurl wiping the thin thread away;your beauty from within;on the outside looking in.

Uncapping the lid to your jar. You fly around anew;by far.
Ajar the window stands but you do not leave. Resting on my heand you tease.

Butterfly wipe your eyes;Don't you cry no more
Butterfly bite your lies; Don't you wanna die no more.
Butterfly show me the you; you try to hide. Don't you run away no more.

Butterfly don't you be shy.
I'm just another face passing by.
Just another leaf fluttering in your wake.

"Schizotype 7"

I swear people must think i'm blind, and maybe I am maybe I am. Or maybe it's clear; clear i'm transparent. A pane of glass not to see a minor reflection in the darkest of hours. Rain dripping down the glass. A somber tower; eyes cower falling to the floor;closing the curtains. Nothing more; nothing more then dreams. I will die in this room; we dye this room red. Leaning against the pane of glass; pain of grasp as we hold onto all that's left. A fragile thread falls;fallen; falling. Though I digress;regress become that which we refuse to be all that we are; alienated; identified.Analyzed we take a breathe and falling off the ledge they look up. Solid I; Solidly I hit the ground.

Within her weary arms i rest; a broken branch of my elegant willow.
The others flow in unison with the breeze but I; I lay upon the ground by my fair ladies feet. My saplings shredded; gone with the passing seasons; and I hold on by only a thread. A strong wind should blow me away; I'll never be remembered. No-one will see my branch and know what life has brought me to this fate. No-one will know; nor care that I have fallen. The branches will conceal my failures and I will rot away with the fetid leaves and scattered pages of days old poetry. No words could save us now though; Everyday we reach closer to being grounded; But right now i'm floundering; In the inevitable future. Too afraid to follow my path; Too soon to jump down to my death. Another vine gently drapes itself around me and hugs the poor tattered limb of the old willow tree. They say my willow weeps; And she does; She weeps for our happiness; Lost amoung the leaves.
