Its a food and I rest my case and Im going to read the thread now.Its a food cos you can have minstrone and noodle soup ,and anybody who had actually gone about making soup from scratch will vouch for the fact that it is food .I mean blending whole foods ? What else would you call it ??

Interesting question. As someone who has an ed I tend to think of soup as a drink, that makes it easier for me to eat it, not as much guilt. Yes I still say I "eat" it which kind of doesn't make sense.
