One of my doctors said to me very kindly "don't loose any more weight, you'll disappear" so it inspired me to try and eat better that week :)

My old CPN left to move to another area and on our last meeting she told me she would be proud to call me her daughter... thanks for this thread I had forgotten about that until now :)

Regarding my volatile personality and the fact I walk out of sessions when overwhelmed and in distress, and sometimes don't return for months at a time, my old psych turned into around into humour about it, and it made me giggle, she said something like "Don't fire me!" which is amusing to me!
As well as the above, I have problems with communication and she praised me when I was opening up more and using words verbally, praise helps me a lot.

I can't think of much that I guess are similar to the ones here, but these are the ones that have made me smile and tried to lighten things - which helps, as sometimes, humour for me does help, as well as validating and being compassionate/understanding my past, my problems and how I feel helps, too.
