To me this tattoo sounds like something that you have got because you are proud of something that you have achieved, and I think that you are brave and strong for getting through SI its very hard to do. Well done and keep going strong, don't ever be ashamed of the tattoo its something that you should be proud of.

don't worry about, you love it and it gives you comfort, it doesn't sound pro self harm to any one subjective. Only someone who will think that anyway by just showing scars/telling people about it will consider you tatoo pro-harm, Dont worry about it & love it in peace! Congrats on winning your battles :)
