I have seen a lot of wasps. I used to be scared of them, but they don't bother me as much at the moment, I'm quite happy for them to buzz around me.

I got stung by a wasp last week
And weirdly it came up in a really deep purple bruise the size of a 2p piece. I didn't know stings could bruise you.

I bruised when I got stung too, I got stung on the boob in April/May and I still have the mark even though I squeezed the sting out it's left me scarred.

I found 2 wasps nests near me recently :O and me and my mum took home part - big mistake since it seemed to house the larvae and a day later, they all started hatching. Dang mother ****ers!

why would you take part of a wasp nest home :/ how did you get near to it to get part that still had larvae in without being mauled by angry arseholes??

Maybe three summers ago, perhaps four, we had a wasps nest (we found this out later) in the air vent in the kitchen, and the wasps were coming into the house at night, and stinging my kitty on the head as she was trying to swipe/play with/eat them. She got a really sore face and it all scabbed up and stuff, and now she's still slightly bald in places. Bless her.

When we found out what it was, we just Polyfillered in both sides of the vent *evil laugh*

I don't like wasps at all.
But I love bumble bees ^_^

Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.

let me just say - my mum is weird.

anyway what happened was it had been destroyed and the 'honey comb' bit was lying on the ground, so my mum - being the weirdo she is, thought it looked cool and took it.

to be honest I hate/fear any kind of bug or creepy crawly, spiders, flys, wasps, whatever if it crawls or flys I dont want near it or to share a room either

we had a wasp come investigate the food at a bbq, I just got out the way, but everyone else wafted it about eventually it settled in my drink, drowned, got poured onto the floor n stood on, then eaten by ants. Poor things was diet cola so probs half dissolved the lot

just last night, was dosing off while reading, n heard this loud buzzing, my sleep clouded mind decided that a wasp had gotten in through the crack in my window, took a few minutes to work out a) it was dark and so no wasps flying, and b) the noise was coming from the kitchen and was my dad using one of them hand held liquidiser things

I was taken to Rushcliffe Country Park the other day, my god. Each bin was like a wasps nest, and it's not good because me and my mum are mega allergic to bites >.< It was QUITE amusing though when they chased my 6year old sister. I couldn't help but laugh... :/
