This. Lol. I got into a VERY heated debate the other day, when some girl on Facebook who is 15 told everyone what she was calling her children. One of them is going to be called 'Autumn Pebbles', and don't get me wrong - it's her kid and she can call it whatever she likes, but I don't think the child will be grateful for that name in later life.

'Autumn Pebbles (then middle and last name)'

My friend at Primary School was called Tanis Bam Bam (first and middle); her sister was Jasmine Pebbles (first and middle). I actually think Pebbles is quite a nice name.. for a rabbit.

I LOVE Lycan and Leo for a boy!! Leo is on my personal list of names :D
As for Elizabeth, let me just say AS an Elizabeth. Ew. Ha its not that bad of a name but in school every class I had there was another Elizabeth in there. At one point there was 4 of us in one class.

^^have to agree...it doesn't see to come into consideration what the child may think having to go thru life with these bizarre names that are the latest craze...

Quite a fan of Meg :P Meg's short for Megan in my case; I quite like the fact that I can have a nickname with friends as well as a more 'official' name.

Leo is a lovely name for a boy, and I really like the name Elizabeth as well. Dylan is nice too, although I think it's quite a 'young' name? It's hard to imagine a 40 year old business man introducing himself as Dylan, although that could just be me.

At my old school we had a River Lily and a Forrest. I used to go in for the whole quirky name thing, but I think a lot of people change their opinions on names all the time, so it is probably best to choose something classic, that's been around for years. Trends come and go and something that's cool now won't be in a few years. Don't forget, names like Dick and Fanny were popular 50 or so years ago.

one of my friends partner is called dylan. hes in his 30s and it quite suits him! he is a total child though

names come and go with the latest fashion. i chose my daughters name because i wanted something pretty and a little bit different, but in 10 years time it could be so common, i dont know. names tend to make a come back too - notice a lot of old fashioned names cropping up again like ruby, lily, oscar, archie, alfie etc etc.

just for information... michael has been the most popular boys name of every decade since the 60s...possibly earlier than that but thats as far as i know.
