It's shared stress so we are talking about it... still worrying though. This weekend I'm going to Tiverton for Sams training - have to be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow!
It can be handy when you share a stress with someone as that way you don't have to be the one to bring it up! I'm glad you are able to talk to someone about it.
Ugh! Early mornings shouldn't be allowed on a Saturday morning!!
I'm alright. had a fairly good day.... should really get dressed though! Perk of working from home! :P
I have decided I am going to quit my job (after a week) I feel somewhat bad for jacking it in and maybe a little unsure still but it is better to get out now rather than a few weeks down the line when I really hate it. Waitressing isn't for me. I just feel like a quitter.
I don't know what to say to the manager? Any ideas?
I start PGL in about two weeks though so won't be out of a job for long.
Life can be beautiful if you let it.
Step back, breathe and take it in
*Hugs Leigh* You're not a quitter. It's okay if it isn't right for you. Maybe just say that to the manager - thanks for the opportunity but waitressing isn't the right job for me, I'm going back to PGL, blah blah. It'll be okay. How are you otherwise?
How are you all doing? x

Glad the lolling about on your yoga mat helped a bit! Sorry you were stressed and anxious though. We're here if it would help to talk about anything!
I have the whole weekend off work, hurrah! :D

Haha, enjoy it while it lasts! :P It sounds like you're keeping yourself pretty busy anyway (I have gathered this from stalking your blog). Any plans for the weekend?
I am. You know the place I had an interview for bank care work - well they only wanted full time staff so I ended up turning it down. So I'm still looking for bank stuff but I'm rather fed up of living at home and working part time at this point so I'm probably going to start applying for full time jobs again.

Relaxing weekends are good! I got my dad tickets to a beer museum / brewery for Christmas so I think I'm being dragged off to that tomorrow!
I would love to move out, yeah. I miss my independence!

Ironing sounds thrilling :P Beer museum should be fun! You get beer tasters included in the price but sadly I do not like beer.
They're doing okay thanks :) How's your family doing?
Yeah, I can relate to that! I don't know tbh. I'm quite torn about what to do at the moment. I do need a change though!

What do you have against fennel? Fennel is perfectly nice! Nah, it should still be good though. I don't like whisky either but I did enjoy a distillery tour.
Owh, I hope your dad gets rid of his cold soon. And doesn't give it to you!
I do miss Scotland! I'd like to go back. Things have been kind of rocky and I'm having a bit of a confidence crisis about being able to manage but I have to take the leap at some point!

Thanks Dan. I'm just feeling fed up and in need of a change!
How are you all today?

I'm OK thank you. Had a rough week spent mostly staring at my bedroom wall, but made it to work and that seemed to snap me out of it. :) Was supposed to see my best friend and her baby last weekend, but couldn't face it. I've rearranged to go up tomorrow until Tuesday though, so I'll get to see them all still :) It's weird. We met when we were 16 and working at Sainsburys, and now we're 28 and she's got a baby and a mortgage! Feel so very fortunate to have someone in my life that has put up with me for so long!

I was when I was younger, my mum worked a Tuesday and Wednesday when I was a child and he'd come pick me and my brother up from school, and my sister from nursery and look after us until mum came back.
In recent years, it has been difficult for him. He is my grans carer, she has severe dementia and is unable to look after herself. We saw them at Christmas and it was really sad, one thing in particular that struck me was I had to put his seatbelt on for him in the car. Brought tears to my eyes because its a total role reversal, I remember when he used to put mine on for me when I was a child. I guess thats what happens though, heh.
I'm really sorry lovely. *cuddles* It does happen but that doesn't make it any easier to deal with.
That sounds positive Ducky :)
Hope you're all doing okay x
