I think Cumbria is very beautiful.
But to me, that's all it is.
Does that make any sense?
It's like...for me, there is no character, or charisma, or any life in it really. It's just like a postcard.

yeah. i've been to places like that. eastbourne and hythe to name a couple.
there are definitely towns that end up specifically to house the old. no offence intended. but they are particularly depressing areas, to me anyway.

i partially disagree. it's hella expensive, but what do you expect? it's the capital. i've always found people friendly though. to the point of being abel to walk into a bar and sit down with a group of people previously never met and chat and get along. i think a lot of that is down to luck though.
i've been on the eye, it wasn't marvelous.
but london in general has a something about it that makes you want to return. i was born there though. maybe that's relative.
