“The good things don’t always soften the bad, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.”
“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. Do you know, in nine hundred years of time and space I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important before.”
“If it’s time to go, remember what you’re leaving. Remember the best. My friends have always been the best of me.”
“Never lose faith in yourself,
and never lose hope;
remember, even when this world throws its worst and then turns its back,
there is still always hope.”
For anyone still remembering this story i'm really sorry it's taken so long to get anything more up... uni stuff.. not feeling like it... yada, has stopped me from writing, but it's holidays now so who knows.
I hope this is okay anyway, just to add a little bit.

The boy watched as the girl sat on the pavement in front of her house playing with her hair; twisting it around her finger and letting the curl fall out again when she pulled her finger free. He wanted to ask this new girl to come and play with him, it had been a long time since someone had lived in the house down the road and he felt overjoyed that the new owners had someone his age to play with. At the tender age of eight, the boy cared not for whether this new friend was a girl or a boy, it was simply a new person to talk to, to play with, and to have fun with. He continued to watch the girl from his window for a little longer, and then mustered up the courage to go and talk to her. Sliding his feet into his shoes he made his way the small way down the street to her and said “Hi.” “Hi,” she replied, so far so good, thought the boy. “I’m Jack.” “I’m Rosie.” “Hi,” he repeated himself. “You just said that.” “I know. I thought I’d say it again.” “Why?” “Because I wanted to.” The boy enjoyed being able to say he’d done things because he wanted to, for he felt he was unlikely to ever do something for another reason other than a want to do so. “Okay.” “Okay.”…”Do you want to go to the park?” He questioned the girl. “Sure.” The boy linked his arm into the girl’s and led her to the end of the road and where the park stood, leading her into the park he shouted, “Last one to the swings is a rotten egg!” And as the girl chased after him laughing, here began their friendship.

“Yeh it’s been three days now.”
“No, she’s doing okay Mum.”
“I’m sure I’m fine too yes.”
“Mum, seriously, I’m not even supposed to be on my phone, I’ll be home for dinner, Bye.”
The voice was hazy in her head, but it was definitely there. A defined white noise of scratching and fuzz with words crackling over it. Three…okay…mum…dinner… She recognised that voice, she had heard it before, she had heard it in her dreams… That same voice, telling her over and over again to please be okay… to wake up… She wanted to find to owner of this voice, to search for him and triumph. She tried to move her arms out in front of her, to feel for his presence in the darkness, but moving her limbs seemed impossible. She fought with all her strength to stir her lifeless limbs but even in the darkness she could tell no arms were moving before her.
“Rosie? Rose?”
That name… where had she heard it before…
“Nurse, Nurse! Come quick! Her finger just moved!”
Finger… her finger had moved… someone else could see her in the darkness… She fought to move again, however her energy seemed to have dwindled, and her extremities still remained in their original places.
“Are you sure it wasn’t just a twitch of her arm? She doesn’t appear to be moving anymore?”
“No, it was definitely a move! Come on Rose, more your finger again, show the nurse that you can do it, come on! Remember when you rode your bike for the first time and you couldn’t wait to show your mum? This is just like that Rose. Come on baby”…

The day was beautiful, the sun not too hot and the wind not too cool, it was perfect. “Come on Rosie! You can do it! I’m going to let go now okay?” “No! Jack, no, I’ll fall!” “You won’t! We’ve done this a hundred times!” “I’m scared Jack, please don’t let go!” The boy let go and the girl sped off ahead of him on her bike, wobbling slightly but definitely going. “I’m doing it Jack! Look I’m doing it!!” And he was looking. The boy did not take his eyes off the girl from the start of her trip to the moment she put the brakes on and came to a stop. “You did it Rose! You totally did it!” The girl grinned at the boy standing there before her, the boy that had taught her to ride her new pride and joy. “I totally did didn’t I!” And, running off in the opposite direction from where he stood, she turned around with her hairw whipping around her in the breeze and shouted back, “last one to my house is a rotten egg!”…
"Be nice. Think happy thoughts. Champion silver linings. Love all things (not just cute things like babies and kittens) & when you do love - love like they do in power ballads (you know like on a cliff with the wind in your hair and your eyes shut, knowing you'll never know love like this). Watch out for dog poo. Smile at people - even grumpy ones. Remember anything is possible & whatever you do always try to look on the bright side."
"People have abused you lots in the past? Why do you then abuse yourself more?" - Quote
