It's a documentary about Naoki, a 56 year old man who was very rich in Japan's economic boom. Now after the economy crashed he lives in a tiny teeny two bedroom, windowless apartment (the rooms are about the size of bathrooms.) with his 23 year old girlfriend Yoshie, who works as an escort and in an office for 14 hours plus a day and suffers from depression. Naoki working part time as a post worker making very little money. It's really interesting. I think a lot of people look at Japan as a very bright, rich world. It is a very rich country... but there are also dark sides and people who are not so lucky.
I want to watch this. I'm fascinated with Japan at the moment.
I watched a documentary yesterday about the recession there & people are living in internet cafes
