I'm warm too. Heating is on and I'm wrapped in a blanket. Had to pop out earlier and it was bloomin' cold! Most of the snow has melted though, so it's all good. Hope there's none overnight as work again tomorrow!

Can you get to work if it snows more aubergine?

Sadly I can get to work short of I dunno a major incident cording off the city centre as I live in walking distance. Currently trying to work out what else I can wear other than a thermal top, normal top, fleece top and work top.

The hospital is walking distance, so it's fine. Will just have to get up earlier to check, because I'll have to allow extra time for the extra-slow walking speen that I have when it's slippy. :P

It's cold here too. I have been hiding under a duvet these past few days. Oh and watching Paddington Bear. Only have 1 tv special to watch and I will have finished the dvd.

Yeah, I've got some walking boots. I wear Crocs at work, but I can't imagine Crocs and ice/snow going well together. :P

Although in my personal opinion, crocs aren't a good idea in general :p

Haha! They are when you stand up for 9 hours at work, with no sitting down apart from lunchtime! Comfiest. Things. Ever. And my feet are always hidden so no one sees anyway. :P

I should have gotten proper shoes when I was working. 12 hour shifts on feet all day, my feet KILLED when i got home!

Aubergine have you seen the film that came out a few years ago with Hugh Bonneville and Julie Walters in? If not I recommend it. I have it on dvd having seen it in my friends house. Paddington 2 comes out next month and I am going to buy it as I am sure that it will be good if the first one is anything to go by.

I wear proper expensive running shoes for my stood up for 9.5 hour days. When I had to wear one of my pairs of boots because of my toes I really noticed the difference.

I overpronante on one of my feet too, so was wearing through shoes like nothing. I had one pair of Crocs that lasted three years no problem. :D

Yes, proper shoes are definitely worth investing in!

I seem to walk a bit oddly because heels on one shoe always wear down slanted!
