Physics test #3 today = fail
me = depressed\
my body = fighting off an icky virus
tomorrow = tests in psychology and calculus II that I'm not prepared for, and don't really feel well enough to study for
life = one huge burden
me = grumpy and cynical. probably mean. whiny because I'm sick.

Verse from old hymn that really struck me this past sunday:
"Come ye weary, heavy laden, lost and ruined by the fall;
If you tarry till you're better, you will never come at all."
Hi - I'm Ann. I've been a committed Christian since I was 10, and am now 63! However, I started SI when I was 58! For me it was a means of controlling stress and alleviating suicidal thoughts.
In the last 3 years I've only cut/scratched three times, although the last was recent, but have sometimes taken extra medication (not excessive). I'm still not sure if it would be considered SI sometimes with my animals (pet rats) - sometimes I let them play under my top just for fun, but sometimes I put a sharp-clawed one there when I get urges to SI.
I've just been to a Christian weekend on SI - it was really good. I've just been working out some of my plans. I have previously written a couple of simple sheets people could show to their ministers or relations. I must say I find my ministers unhelpful (my vet is much more helpful on the depression side!)
Hi ann. welcome to ryl and the christian thread. Congratulations on only scratching 3 times in the past 3 years. Thats quite an accomplishment.

Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"

I'm sitting in my room instead of at the thanksgiving celebration for XA (the campus ministry I'm involved in)
Because A) I'm afraid of eating in front of that many people
B) I'm convinced that most people don't like me, so really I'm doing them a favor and making their gathering more pleasant by not showing up... right?
C) secretly, I was wondering if anyone would care that I didn't come, and call/text me to see why... (an hour into the celebration: no one has)
... me = pathetic
