Gabz: Wishhh I could :( I can't even go to Emma's birthday meet. I stupidly asked my parents and they said no, so now I definitely can't go...might look suspicious if I disappear on the days they know I want to go away :P
On a lighter (hahahaha, a pun!) note (haaaa pun x2), THEY SO ARE <3 I adore them bothhh. It's so hard because I love Light but I know he's bad and it's such an emotional time :P

Thanks, but it's just general me stuff. Self esteem and the like. *hugs* is there any reason you aren't sleeping well?
What did you do instead of A-levels? Lucky devil xD
Have you had a look in your area for any decent clubs you could join? Drama is said to be good for self esteem *cuddles*
Two reasons:
1) my brain won't shut off
2) The tw*t who lives below me likes to listen to loud music until 3am (Y)

SNEAK HERE INSTEAD, LIKE, NOW xD
Awwww, that sucks though. Show them a picture of me. Parents always think I look far too innocent xD
Just you wait, Annaberry. Your need to love Light will be tested D:
What episode are you on? <3

Scots do Highers, which are at a level somewhere between AS and A level. It's all exam based though, none of this coursework nonsense. Then we can do Advanced Highers (although not many do) which are at a level high than A level, more like first year university. For those who do a project thing and an exam. Although I think all this is due to be changing soon because of the stupid Scottish Government who can't leave things be.
In my area there is not much at all. I've just started back fencing, and might try to go to the gym/swimming/squash one day a week if I can and try to get fit. Come October I'm going to be working quite a lot though, in order to fund my possible jaunt abroad.
Do you have ear plugs? OR listen to music whilst trying to sleep? That can sometimes help.
Ah, I'd much prefer ours to be exam-based. I've never been great at doing coursework, unless it's for English. Your system sounds much better =]
oo, I'm glad you're doing fencing again. You seemed to enjoy it a lot *nods*
Did that improve your confidence a bit last time?
Jaunt abroad? Where are you going? Why was I not told about this? xD
And anything like music distracts me from sleep. If he's nosy tonight, I'mma put a complaint in >.>
I was never very good at coursework either. For some subjects you only had to prove that you had done things throughout the year, but they were never graded. It was basically the teacher either ticking a box to say you'd done it, or sending in some example work to the exam board. Yes, we only have one exam board!
Fencing is hard, I'd forgotten how much hard work it is! And I seem to have lost any skill I once had.
Yes, I'm thinking of going abroad for a bit. I decided not to do the masters (even though I got funding) and thought I would look into a possible career and then go to Western Europe (probably France, maybe Switzerland, or somewhere in Scandinavia) after February. So now I'm just working and stuff.
You should put a complaint in! Or get a lot of people together and get them all to put in a complaint.

Awwww, that sounds so cool, Claire! I thinking getting out there and seeing the world will do you (no pun intended here) the world of good. Best of luck with it <3
And I doubt you'll have lost all your skills at fencing. Just need a bit of practice to remember them =]

It's automatically painful. Every week I come home with more bruises. I heal so slowly that I still have them weeks later!

Yep, one exam board. So everyone (unless doing A levels/IB at a private school) sits the same exam at the same time on the same day. I don't really understand your system of having loads of different exam boards, all teaching slightly different things.
I have absolutely no idea what I'd do abroad. Don't really want to blow my savings. I was thinking of doing something where I work for a few hours a day in return for free room and board. Just need to find somewhere I want to go.

probably. But fantastic scenery makes it all the better.

To be honest, I'd live right here. Preferably still in this house, just without my parents and brother xD They can live up the road or round the corner or something :P
I like the travel in Tyne & Wear (thats my County) and I like the familiarity. A lot of places are a total dump but I live in a nice area and I'm right round the corner from a metro station and my school bus stop :P
I'd just rather be living with people I get on with :)

For some reason an old documentary has been on my mind a lot recently.
It was these four families who bought this old manner house up in scotland. More than large enough for all of them to live there with room to spare.
The documentary was mostly about the keeping of the grounds and fixing up the building. Expensive. but, in their own words "worth it."
They seemed really happy most of the time though. Living in that huge house together. them and all their kids.
I don't know why it's been on my mind. Maybe the little joke the other day about us all buying a real house and moving in together. Documentaries like that show that kind of thing is possible.
weird huh, the sort of stuff that gets stuck in your head.

I don't think I want a huge house.
If there were lots of people in it then I would be fine, but I think big houses are terribly lonely on your own
Plus I'm scared of murderers getting in my house and big houses are easy to hide in D:

For only 2.5 million we could get a 7 bedroom property in Halifax. http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/det...6b1 384f7c022
It's a wonderful looking place, almost how I imagine the House to look. But with a turret missing.
Nice what you can buy when money is no object. Stupid rich people and all their mega disposable income.
