I think rose was saying doctor, because donna said it and the exact same time, so her mouth was moving as if to say doctor. She makes one more apperance before comming back in the third last episode.
Yeah the daughter things just annoyes me a little.
"Its not how long a star shines, what is remembered is the brightness of the light"
I agree, could go either way at the moment
The "Are you my mummy?" bit made me laugh though
I am not perfect and I don't claim to be. And if that's what you wanted, well I am so sorry... So mighty, so hegemonic, so hating, so desecrating, so there, so nowhere, so hurting, we fall between indifference, rejection...

Okay before the flaming: Doctor Who had a daughter in the classic series.
I think she was in S1E1 of the original and then she ran off qith someone at another point in the show (No i'm not that old... I just remember reading it ages ago).... I'll have a look now.
So its not out of canon..... Just a VERY odd direction for the show to take.
The preview was pretty fast so I didn't get a good look at the blue-thingies.
The very first episode, An Unearthly Child, revealed that the Doctor has a granddaughter, Susan Foreman, and in "Fear Her" (2006), he remarked that he had, in the past, been a father.
Indded, but therefore to have a grandaughter he must have a daughter; even if he adopted her she would have been his daughter not granddaughter so that doesn't make sense :)
Edit:
The following content has been hidden - Reason : Spoiler for next episode- May not be true though
In the 2008 episode The Doctor's Daughter, a character named Jenny, who is the result of the Doctor's DNA being tampered with, appears. As of yet it is still unknown whether she will be Susan's mother.
i sed about this storyline in a previous pot but i'm not looking forward to this storyline.... i think she's going to annoy me
enjoyed that episode it made me laugh loads... loved 'are u my mummy?'
but donna was BRILLANT in this episode 'back of the neck!' and when she hit him his face was soo funny
'prefer et obdura; dolar hic tibi proderit olim'
be patient and tough; someday this pain will be useful to you
IMHO this was one of the best episodes of the series so far
Shame they underdramatised the UNIT vs SOntaron battle though :(
Silly BBC programme aimed at children :P
i was aware eith the whole grand-daughter/daughter thing, but its a weired direction to take it for only one episode. I like that marthas back but the will only be there for the next episode :(

I knew that would be his daughter, you could see it coming from the moment he mentioned he had children. I loved parts of the episode, the flash of rose, the Doctor Dances reference, I liked the episode in general but so far the series has not had the quality of the first two which I was hoping would come back.
