I didn't realize it was him in ES until i checked the cast after a few watches, i'm def. gonna check some of the filns out, guy had such a distinct voice. I think some of Hollywood's remakes are passable but a lot just take the essence out of what made the originals so great and they add cheap tricks and jumps to them.
Have you seen the Evil Dead films? They are great, my fave is the very first.

Did you see Drag Me To Hell? I thought it was pretty fun with a couple of great scenes.

It's Sam Raimi, it's definitely got a lot of cheesyness to it, but mostly it's a fun watch with some good scenes.

Sam is great. That's why I like the first two spiderman films so much. 3 was ok, but there were a lot of things wrong with it.
2 with doc ock was classic raimi at moments

I have never really got into superhero films much, the only ones that have ever appealed to me have been Burton's Batman due to Nicholson's performance and The Dark Knight because of the power Ledger gave to his character, it just pervaded through the whole atmosphere reeking of twisted anarchy that made a lot of sense. Drag Me To Hell has some freakish moments but wades into cliché at other times

Heart: A Twinkie is a desert thing, yellow cake with white filling. Very yummy, excellent for a sugar high, and very unzombie like.
