I need to watch Ed Wood, Planet of the Apes and Sweeney Todd, i always rewatch the ones I have and love too much Not nec. a bad thing. Sleepy Hollow is one of my faves, Walken has such presence and he's barely onscreen for long. I watched Alice in Wonderland today, it was okay but to me it didn't have that Burton magic flowing through.

I think I caught Mars Attacks one time, Nicholson was great as he always is, but didn't really interest me either, i don't know if it was going with the whole cheesy sci-fi movie thing but didn't excite me.
That tree in SH is just awesome And the flashback of his mum is a crazy image when the camera zooms up to her! Freaked me out no end.

I usually like those cheesy movie. I'm a big fan of the 50's-60's sci fi. Just this one, a pardody of those movies, right down to how the aliens are defeated by the simplest thing, just didn't do it for me.

I have not got into that era yet but I can imagine I would like it. I've always thought Vincent Price was awesome When we hit 200 something will happen, it might be the end of the world as we know it, it might not. Forget 2012 conspiracies. The RYL house was not supposed to hold this much insanity!

it wasn't just vinny. There's were loads of epic 50's movies. where science could be anything you wanted it to be. where men were men, women did nothing but scream and children never got hurt. And they would always end on a poignant lesson about the future of humanity.
cheesy, funny and most definitely; entertaining.

I think the first time I saw vincent was in edward scissorhands.
The first time I saw his serious acting as a lead role was in a hammer horror movie Twins of Evil. He scared me (but i was 6 at the time. )
That movie started a lifelong obsession with the classics.
