^ Haha, it's where all the cash we get goes!
Well, mine anyway.
And I imagine Rancid was ace, and Deathcab [will be] too.
As for The Wombats, not quite so great, I don't like them (seems that you don't either)!
yess death cab was so good. me & lucy were kindof to the side so it wasn't too bad and we could see.
but we were really confused about who ben gibbard was. i don't really know what deathcab look like. ben was the singer yeah? he looks completley different to how i thought he looked!
yeah, he does look a lot different with his hair like that. reminds me of spencer reid out of criminal minds.
i was splat bang in the centre of the room leaning against the bar. These guys asked to get by so we let them then they stood splat bang in front of us the whole time, ****ers!
i did not overly enjoy Wombats, but then i only really stood and properly watched the joy division song.
over the next week or so i have
Saturday: Dizzee Rascal
Tuesday: Dylan Moran
Thursday: MGMT
Saturday: Simple Plan
Monday: Cradle of Filth
Tuesday: Slipknot.
Im so excited about Cradle its not even funny. I love them in a... oh the memories of when i was an angst ridden teen and thought i was soooo individual kind of way.
what were they frightened rabbit?
erm i thought they were ok, the sound seemed abit off, i think they would have been good had it been clearer.
but no they were good, i was tempted to buy an album but they seemed expensive.
what did you think?
linda can you recommend me some spill canvas, what songs are there best? i only know a couple.
yeah frightened rabbit. i really adore them, but then i liked them way before last night and it was just an amazing added bonus that they were supporting. i think their songs are ones that you can only really get into though if you know it/have heard it before. i think they are really super though.
spill canvas. uhm, well if you are looking for more acoustic/slow songs then i would recommend like the whole sunsets & carcrashes album. seriously. i listened to that album SOLIDLY for like a month a couple of years back. i get the idea you will be into their more pop-rock stuff though. i will assume you know all hail the heartbreaker, other good songs are: polygraph right now, valiant, saved, hush hush, all over you is really popular i think. i really like dutch courage too.
spill canvas, depends on, i find, what your current relationship status is!
haha that is so true!
the spill canvas make amazing breakup music i think. or well music like after you've broken up & youre like "oh my god want to die that person was the best person ever in the whole world oh no."
or maybe that is just me.
