I bought yesterday A scanner darkly by Philip K Dick in romanian.I have it in English too,but it's too complicated.
You can buy me with a coffee,I'm so cheap. Got bitten fingernails&a head full of past;Got a broken heart&your name on my cast.
&&I wanted her to tell me that she will never wake me.
im currently reading 'the Buddha and the borderline'- Kiera Van Gelder.
my therapist recommended it, its actually quite good so far but im only a few chapters in.
still almost finished Wild Swans, but now almost finished A Winter in Madrid too. It's good - it's got a pretty Seb. Fawkes feeling, but it's not quite that quality; the characters just feel slightly too fake, and the connections that they're picking up on are slightly too... Unreal to grasp you completely. But I am enjoying it.
Finished Winter in Madrid. About ten pages away from finishing Wild Swans and have started reading Death Du Jour by Kathy Reichs; I love the TV series that's based (very, very loosely) on KR, so thought I'd read the books too.
Finished Cancer Ward by Alexandr Solzhenitsyn last week. I would definitely reccomend it, amazingly engaging and not as depressing as one would think considering its set entirely within a cancer ward.
Now moved onto Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. Its been so long since I've read any of his books, I've missed him :')
I just finished Annie by Lynda Page for the second time, and Through Rose Tinted Glasses by someone who I can't remember now (It was one of my Nana's library books, haha. In fact, both were my Nana's :P) and enjoyed them both =]
Currently reading Shopaholic Ties the Knot by Sophie Kinsella for the third time, for something easier on the mind to read. I'm also half way through Queen Camilla by Sue Townsend. I'm going to start the Medici Secret by Michael White in the next couple of days.
I can't just read one book at a time xD
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
I just finished the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and I'm halfway though the Reformed Vampires Support Group by Catherine Jinks. Both are awesome, if you're looking for something good to read (:
However, if you want to get the Hunger Games from the library, I suggest you take some pepper spray. There were no copies on the shelf when I went, so I stole one from another girl's pile. I quickly checked it out, and ran from the library, with her hot on my tail. She was shaking her fist and waving a pistol, saying the she would get me some day. Somehow, she figured out my address, and spray painted "WATCH YOUR BACK" on my garage door, and I had to sleep with a baseball bat that night.
I'm reading Rouge et Noir (Red and Black) by Stendhal.I've been reading for 2 years or more only modern books.I should have started with the classics first.
