I really, really want this top, but I don't know what I should wear with. It says to wear it with a skirt but what I like about it is the way it hangs, which would be ruined by tucking it into a skirt. My hips are too wide for harem/tapered trousers and it would look silly with wide leg trousers. I wore it with leggings but I think I'd feel uncomfortable like that, and I don't know if school would let me anyway. It does cover my bum, but I dunno.
Help meh? :D

It's supposed to be for school :P But if I do get it then at weekends and stuff I'll wear it with jeans :)
I diddd however find some trousers that were basically skinnies (fit like skinnies too) but were ...trouser material. I just had the size too small and was sick of trying stuff on by that point so gave up. I'll be going proper shopping with my mam soon though, probably, and will have to try those trousers xD

i love how you're putting so much thought into 6th form clothing. i literally bought 1 pair of jeans loads of t-shirts and a jacket. wore that the whole year ;) coz im a clean child.

I'm meticulous about clothes, lmao. If I was allowed jeans I'd just take what I've already got but they say no jeans. Also shirts and blouses and none of my old shirts/blouses fit any more >.<
They are too wide, I tried about a bazillion pairs and they made me look either huge or like I was going to bed :P
I do hope so, because that's probably how it'll go. I might wear it with a skirt for the start of school, and then go with leggings later on. Apparently they stop caring so much after the first few weeks

im lucky i came into 6th when they took away the jeans rule. and we all just kinda wear what we want and they seem fine with it. if i had to wear shirts and blouses i would have shot someone ¬_¬
a few years ago there was a rule against sleeves in the summer too >.< that would have gone down well. glad that went away.
I can sort of understand why they say no jeans. Don't blame them for wanting people to look tidy and you can't say "certain kinds of jeans are acceptable" because then it's a grey area and difficult to enforce etc.
I don't mind wearing blouses and stuff, they're pretty and I like pretty xD

I generally end up feeling better in stuff like that ^
T-shirts can be unforgiving and harder to hide in. I used to feel uncomfortable in anything but a tshirt and now I hate being in them. See, that shirt hides my tummy, but tshirts don't.
I love this for the same reason. And the colour is gorgeous.
