How do you adopt a dolphin? (jw, cuz I could totally see me and one of my friends walking into a pet store and asking if we could adopt a dolphin there, and the pet store people looking at us weird and telling us to leave.)

dolphins are cool, mines is scotland in the uk, i got a form and you get kept up to date with where it is etc

Aliens planted them here millennia ago to watch mankind, sort of like interplanetary zoology. With a little judgement of our value thrown in.
So anyway, the aliens turn up and hear the dolphins testimony as to whether or not man should exist or we should be exterminated so another race has the chance to evolve that might treat the planet a little better.
