Yeah the queendom is realy quiet these days. I haven't been on in ages because I've been so busy.. Should have another party soon, maybe get Kate and Paige and some of the other oldies back for it..
Jess I remember that time we tried to get to 2000 pages, the amount of spam that we had to do! I'm just glad the mods didn't remove it! Still didn't get up to 2000 pages though.. But was SO much fun!! Definitely need to do it again some time!
i know im 3 pages off, buuut it was funny- mum was teaching in sc, and friend is going to uni in nc, and they had off classes for literally an inch of snow; both were dying laughing. we dont get as much as ny, but the only reason we had off classes this year is for over 4 feet of snow, and then the next day when the wind kept blowing it so they couldnt clear stuff

I honestly have no idea! Any ideas? Preferably somewhere cheap (<£1000 all in) and with decent facilities for beginners. Do you think I should learn to ski here rather than there? There is one of those Sno-Zone places near(ish) me.
Right now I just had a quick look at the package-type ones with Thomson, Thomas Cook and the like. Think that might be easier that looking into separates.
Yeah looking into a package would be better.
You could have a few lessons in the UK first just so your not a complete and utter beginer.
But you def have to have lessons out there.
Um, I heard bulgeria is cheap or it always used to be (never been though) and it's good for beginers.
The alps are pretty good aswell.
For companies, try smallish ones, they're usually a little cheaper I think..but def have a look around, you could try, inghams and crystal just to 'price compare' but I think they'll be more expensive ones.
Ski esprit have a ski package holiday for people without kids (mostly they are a 'family holiday' company) that might not be too bad.
But yeah..I love skiing.

I think the cheapest one I've seen was about £800 for everything. So expensive! Will keep having a look around. Thomas Cook's website is awful, can't figure out how to get prices for lift passes or equipment hire or anything!
Lol, Heather, I'm from NC, and we totally did get snow days when there was even a little brushing on snow! We used to get so excited, and we slid on trashcan lids down the driveway into the ditch. Good times lol
