freyja was teething for a long time before anything appeared too, then she got two at once on the bottom. its round two now as she has been teething for weeks and weeks and it is bothering her, she constantly chews on her hands and everything in sight, she drools, she gives me awful awful nappies when shes hurting but still no teeth are appearing. argh

chloe was teething from 8 weeks and didnt get teeth til 7 months, her 2nd lot one (right) came through really ahead of the other, but kept healing over again, so infact the lefthand tooth came through permanatley before the right one did. she has lumps on both sides of her bottom and top gums, dont know which will appear first.

sorry to hear that Berni. It's tough when that happens. It puts them out of whack for the rest of the day/night. Thankfully, Maddles is normally pretty good about naps. But every now and again she won't sleep, and ends up sleeping stupidly late (waking around 5.30pm), which messes with bedtime!
I have a dentist appointment next Thursday (earliest they could do!). My tooth's come up even more today, and I think it's starting to break through in another place aswell! Luckily it doesn't hurt that much.
helena - bonjela! mine always get an infection when they start to move.
chloe has been so grumpy and wouldnt settle last night. my mum and dad took her into their bed last night coz she would stir every 10mins. i think she's learning so much it's disturbing her sleep, i heard that can happen.
she wont take her milk from that cup but enjoyed another smoothie for pudding today. i make sure to only give it at mealtimes though because of the natural sugars in it, but i guess something with 9 strawberries, 1/2 a nana, 1/2 an apple and 1/4 orange is better than a biscuit, and it certainly packs in her 5 a day! she held it herself and has mastered the one handed drinking!
i just removed 2 black binbags of rubbish, 4 armloads of cans and bottles (matt's energy drinks and wkd bottles) for recycling and another washbin of dirty clothes. my mum is fretting coz i already put out one basket this week and it's a big linen basket. plus i usually change in the bathroom and put my dirty clothes in the wash pile there, i just keep finding matt's hiding places (down the side of the bed, under his desk, under a pile of clean clothes etc) for dirty laundry.

Berni, if you take him out in his buggy does he sleep? Thats the only way I can get Adela to nap and she isn't sleeping well ever, she wakes up every 2 hours and wants to play, but I think she might be a bit jet lagged.
chloe only sleeps after a bottle, so she has breakfast and a play, then a bottle and a nap, then lunch and a play/trip to park, then a bottle and nap, then tea and a play, bath and then a bottle and bed.
chloe's been saying 'car' all day today. mand x

i ended up just getting freyja a cot instead of a cot bed because we were short on space. but cot beds are really good. i would have loved the sleigh bed style, mothercare sells one for about £500/£600 and its beautiful dark wood but it was just too pricey!!!
