Oh i'm just upset becasue in my thread some of the response basically make me sound like a shallow whore who is so full of herself that she thinks she's perfect. And i'm crying becasue My leg hurts from physio and i'm fat and broke and really tired so evertyhing is seeming so much worse than it probably is.

Maybe a good cry can help you let the emotion out a bit in a healthy way, eh? And ignore the thread - if people are judging you like that then they obviously don't know you, so it shouldn't make much of an impression, as people who know you know you for the kind, compassionate soul you are.

I feel like such a sook though. ANd I can't judge properly if i'm over reacting to certain things and it's annoying/upsetting me even more! I should just stay off cause that would end that problem haha.

I am currently:

Hi, kinda new here. I like the idea of that little bit extra support. Im quite a bit overweight based on my height etc. Im not that big but it still gets me down alot. I used to be super trim and fit but when I got really depresssed I lost all confidence in myself and gave up dancing, athletics, swimming etc. So now Im trying to get back inshape for me so feeling alot more self conscious than usual especially with summer on the way.

hey welcome to the thread!

Maybe try taking back up one of your sports, it might help you feel better both physically and mentally!

You sound like you're pretty into sport and that'll be good for just toning up. Don't be hard on yourself, and keep posting here!

Well. Here's how it went at the doctors.

Firstly i went in and complained i hadn't been able to get an appointment with my own doctor for four months. I then complained that my CBT sessions had been every two months as opposed to every two weeks. This has been sorted out, as he didn't realise this was the case.

Secondly, i told him i didn't feel i needed to be on anti depressants any more, and that i haven't really been assessed in over a year, and i felt they have significantly contributed to my weight. So we did that wierd on screen test they like to do where they ask you questions (i think its called a core test or something) and assess how bad you feel. Thankfully, my answers indicated i was two points away from 'normal'. He has told me i can stop taking the Chlorpromazine, but he doesn't want me to stop taking the Mirtazapine (anti depressants) just yet untill i see how i do without the Chlorpromazine. He also wants me to finish my CBT. He then booked me an appointment there and then for two weeks time to asses how i'm doing without it. As for the weight thing, he said there was 'no proof' to directly link my weight to my medication, which personally, i think is utter bull.

I guess i'm slightly relieved that i have got rid of one lot of medication, but still slightly dissapointed i still have to be on anti depressants. Less medication's got to be good though, right?!

Thanks. The welcome here is very warm and I really appreciate it. I am trying really hard at the. Moment to get back to swimming but with working and studyibg full time is proving tricky.

It's really difficult with study & work isn't it! I'm studying full time too so it does make it hard, but I also find it can be a really good break from studying, too. Helps concentration & all.

Claire, sorry to hear that, what's up love?

Kez - high five for assertiveness, well done :D I think one less is good, and really, it's very responsible to be coming off them that way instead of both at once, which might have nasty side effects. Congrats girl :)

That was very helpful THANKS a mill .I just kinda crave fast food when Im low and Im low cos I lost a number of jobs but Im trying to rectify that.I need to be active but when youre not working ,its so bloody boring like.
