I had no choice but to do a language. And french was the lesser of two evils, the other option being german.
I seriously am lacking motivation now. Cause I'm in a more positive mood, which means I really cannot be bothered to go and revise. So I might just settle for failing french. =]

I never had a choice either, and my only choice was French. Now I could hardly say anything. What I can say is "Hello, my name is Claire. I live in [town] in Scotland." Apart from that I'm pretty stuck.
I can get by in french, although i remember none of it from school. I taught myself it last year.
But i'm not good at it or anything.
I didn't really have a choice but I could have pushed to have done spanish GCSE aswell as french.
I done spanish in yr 8 only and our spanish teacher was 100% spanish and knew hardly any english so that was rubbish. I went to German lessons for abit while I was at college.
As you can tell, I kinda like languages but, I'm pretty rubbish at them.
I just find them interesting. I also know/knew a little italian aswell.
Life can be beautiful if you let it.

I've had to study French, German and Latin and I did a bit of Spanish too. But I only do French now. And after tomorrow I won't even do that anymore.
And I have skimmed my french notes and worked out that I'll be alright tomorrow, cause I know most of it and I'm pretty good at making stuff up on the spot. So hopefully it will be alright. I have science as well tomorrow though...but that should be ok. I hope...

yeah I was good at latin until it got to GCSE and it got really hard to I dropped it. Although it was useful when I went to Italy with mum a couple of years ago. I managed to get by with reading italian cause it was a mixture of latin and french basically. I'd love to be fluent in french, but I don't have the patience with it!

yeah I used to know the greek alphabet. But as I've gotten older I've stopped languages gradually. It would be useful to be fluent in something. Closest I'll ever get is with my french. It would be so cool to be able to speak like japanese or something though =]
