hello all.
i guess the way i define my sexuality depends on how smart i think a person is. if they can grasp the concept of genderqueer, i... dont really have a word. i like girls, that is a well established fact. if im feeling particularly male im more open to guys in a sexual/romantic way, but not when i feel girly. so i basically just say "i like girls. guys are a bit more complicated"
if i think someone is stupid or ignorant or i dont want to waste my time explaining things that arent really their business (it tends to be guys) the conversation goes a bit like this:
me: "i like girls, not guys. end of story."
them: "so you're gay?"
me: "yeah, sure"

^When they were recreating my uni's LGBT group and were considering a new name, they came up with 30 something letters I think. Eventually they just settled on LGBT+, as the plus includes pansexuality, asexuality and so on.
