I've just read that a second season of Durarara has been confirmed...
Already can't wait for it. I was excited when I read this and then I saw the image in the link and I got even more excited. I don't know what it is about that anime that I like so much, but it's just one of my favorites. It certainly wasn't one of the first I'd seen, but it's a really good one either way. I didn't think they'd ever make a second season of that.
Just watched Noragami today. It's a short one (12 eps), but it seems really well developed. The artwork is nice, and the story is really good. It's got action, drama, comedy, and even a bit of romance. It also blends all of the elements together really well. If anyone wants a really nice, short anime to watch, I'd definitely recommend this one. I'd give a synopsis, but you'd find a better one by googling it. Anyways, I definitely recommend this anime.
I just read a synopsis and a couple of reviews about Noragami and it sound just like my kind of anime! I am actually pretty excited to watch this one when I get back home in a few months. Thanks for mentioning it, I doubt I would have found out about it otherwise.
Since I unfortunately can't watch any anime right now, I am instead having great fun naming animals at the shelter i'm currently working at after anime characters xD. I currently have rabbits named Yui (Angel Beats), Yin (Darker than Black), Sylvie (Baccano) and Milly (Code Geass) and a little owl named Firo (Baccano). Hopefully in the next few months when we might get more exciting animals like bears or moose in I can keep up this theme xD

I feel like an idiot for it, but I sat here in my chair and laughed for a good 30 seconds after reading that comment. Just out loud to myself. For some reason that was just really funny to me. I really love that idea. There ought to be a Celty in that mix. Also, Yui fits a rabbit so well...Ah, that's just such a good idea.
I'm still just trying to come up with something to watch. I keep getting down to one, then deciding not to watch it. At this point, I'm thinking either Log Horizon or Witch Craft Works. Can't decide which, might not pick either. Oh well, I'll decide later, no time to watch now anyway.
^ I was going to name the black rabbit Celty, but went with Yin instead. I wanted to keep Celty free in case I get to name a black bear. I think that's more fitting :P

The name would be more fitting for a Black Bear, that was probably a wise decision.
Anyhow, I just finished an anime called Golden Time. It's a romance anime, for those who are fans of that. It's probably one of the best romances I've ever seen. It just seemed done really well for the most part. Now I think I'm going to watch Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I was informed that I must watch it this instant, so I figure I'll just make that my next anime.
After the first two episodes, I'm not totally hooked yet, so I might end up watching something else alongside this one as well. Not sure what, though.
I have recently been watching Log Horizon and I am currently re-watching cowboy bebop and outlaw star. I have so many animes that I want to watch but have yet to find time to start on them (In hindsight maybe re-watching old animes wasn't the best idea considering how obsessed I get with them.)
“I like the stars. It's the illusion of permanence, I think. I mean, they're always flaring up and caving in and going out. But from here, I can pretend...I can pretend that things last. I can pretend that lives last longer than moments. Gods come, and gods go. Mortals flicker and flash and fade. Worlds don't last; and stars and galaxies are transient, fleeting things that twinkle like fireflies and vanish into cold and dust. But I can pretend...”

I'm currently watching Air Gear and WataMote. They're really good so far. I'll report with my overall opinion once I finish both. ^^

Close your eyes. Don't you cry. Love's around you. In time, you'll fly. Don't you worry about the dark. I will light up the night with the love in my heart. I will burn like the sun that will keep you safe and warm. Like the smell of a rose on a summer's day, I will be there to take all your fears away. With the touch of my hand, I will turn your life to GOLD!

I remember watching air gear and loving it. I've put off seeing WataMote for some reason (so much other anime that I just forget about it). Air Gear is definitely a good one, though. It's a little on the absurd side of things sometimes, but that's not really such a bad thing from time to time. It definitely seemed a little bit different from the rest of the anime I was watching at the time.
I finished WataMote, but the last episode was confusing to say the least. Very disappointed everything built to that. :/ I give it a 7/10 with the last episode, 8.5/10 without it.

Air Gear's ending was disappointing as well. :/ A gigantic cliff hanger and no plans of a second season. 7/10

Yeah, I was certainly disappointed by Air Gear's ending when I had watched it. It just wasn't popular enough, I guess. Though it seems like it ought to be one of the more popular shows.
Anyways, I'm watching something called Mekakucity Actors now. It's ongoing right now (episode 5), so if you're not into that, I'd say stay away for a few weeks until it finishes airing. In any case, it definitely seems interesting. I can't tell exactly what the main story is going to be, but I can make some guesses and I can vaguely tell how it might go...It's definitely interesting, though. Oh, I'm also watching Nisekoi, which is a typical romcom. As far as those go, it's a good one. So if you're into that, there's one to watch. It is also ongoing, though, so you might want to wait a few weeks for that as well.
Just finished both seasons of Kuroko no Basket. I wasn't expecting to like that nearly as much as I did. It's really an inspiring show. I'd recommend that to anyone looking for a show to watch. It's somewhat long at 50 episodes between the two seasons, so it should keep you busy for a while. Like I said, though, it's definitely a good one.
Been rewatching season 1 of darker than black and I'm watching season 1 of Tokko, also my box set of Rahxephon arrived today so I'll give that a look later
Location: Nowwhere, Nebraska (a.k.a. the corn sate)
I am currently:

"I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night" -Galelio
"I can't tell you the key to seccess, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone." -Ed Sheeran
"There's nothing wrong with being a loser, it just depends on how good you are at it." -Billie Joe Armstrong
"Life is pain, anyone who says differantly is trying to sell something." -Wesley (Princess Bride)
Been watching RahXephon, it's pretty ****ing cool and it gets compared to evangelion a lot but it doesn't have a lot in common with evangelion plus along with having a giant robot it also has futuristic fighter jets too which can only add another layer of awesome to proceedings
