“The good things don’t always soften the bad, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.”
“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. Do you know, in nine hundred years of time and space I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important before.”
“If it’s time to go, remember what you’re leaving. Remember the best. My friends have always been the best of me.”
If you have a retainer, then follow your orthodontist's instructions about using it. If you don't then your teeth will move back to how they were before braces (this has happened to one of my friends). It's also annoying when your wisdom teeth come through because they mess up years of hard work. And go to a dentist and make sure they get all the gunk off your teeth that might still be there from the braces.
Aaah, I remember when I got mine off after years and years. Good times!
I don't. My top ones are ok, only been a slight bit of movement but they still look fine and definitely aren't as bad as there were. My bottom ones have been ruined probably by a combination of a lack of retainer (she never gave me one) and my wisdom teeth pushing through. My mouth is already pretty crowded so the wisdom teeth have basically pushed my bottom teeth back to bit like they were only not quite as bad.
I hate flossing but my dentist keeps going on and on and on about it! Brushing your teeth with braces on becomes an art form, you have to be gentle enough not to move anything but hard enough to actually brush your teeth.
I'm really fussy with toothbrushes, they have to be really soft.
The Mole was bewitched, entranced, fascinated. By the side of the river he trotted as one trots, when very small, by the side of a man who holds one spell-bound by exciting stories; and when tired at last, he sat on the bank, while the river still chattered on to him, a babbling procession of the best stories in the world, sent from the heart of the earth to be told at last to the insatiable sea.
Wind in the Willows.
